Parenting After Abuse

The Parenting after abuse curriculum utilizes

various Mental Health and therapeutic materials while

focusing on creating healthy parent-child

relationship and overcoming/learning to function well as

a parent with MH issues and/or past abuse.

Client will complete a letter of accountability and apology

to child(ren) for past poor parenting and a plan to prevent future neglect/abuse.

MRT Protective Parenting

The MRT Protective Parenting curriculum focuses

on educating parents to become positive, effective, protective parents

through utilizing and promoting acceptance and responsibility

in parenting using the

MRT Parenting & Family Values

workbook and a section in each session with a therapist teaching healthy relationship tools for change.

Client will complete a letter of accountability and apology

to child(ren) for past poor parenting and a plan to prevent future neglect/abuse

Coparenting Classes

Coparenting group focuses on creating a respectful and effective

way to coparent child(ren) after divorce/separation

and or blended family issues.

Our program emphasizes the core issues affecting families and 

care givers after separation/divorce.

Classes work with clients to address issues of:  

  • Parenting values and attitudes
  • What is Coparenting
  • Creating healthy boundaries
  • Coparenting responsibilities
  • Child(ren)'s values
  • Learning to compromise
  • Discipline and child(ren)'s needs
  • Coping with child(ren) and problem behaviors
  • Handling the adolescent years
  • Creating healthy families
